I’m Pierce. Known Christian since freshman year of high school. His drinking partner and personal comedian since freshman year of college. Will be throwing it down on the dance floor at the reception.
Maggie Veal - Maid of Honor
Hi, I’m Maggie, Samantha’s little sister! I am thrilled to be Samantha’s maid of honor, and could not be more excited for this chapter of my sister and Christian’s life to start. Samantha has always been supportive, loving, and kind throughout our childhoods, teenage years, and young adulthood, while also being a fun and cool older sister to look up to, and I am so lucky to see someone like Christian appreciate and love her for all that she is. I am so excited to gain a brother in law and even more excited for the life Samantha and Christian will live together. Cheers to the happy couple!
Palmer Thompson - Groomsman
My names Palmer, I’ve known Christian since freshman year of high school playing football. We have been friends, fraternity brothers, firefighters at the same department, and general nerds and rivals in Smash bros (it’s one sided I don’t think I’ve ever won) in the time since then. I'm extremely happy for my brother and his soon to be wife Sam in this new chapter.
Paige Davis Broome - Matron of Honor
Paige and Samantha’s friendship spans the entirety of their lives. As daughters of close friends, they have experienced the milestones of childhood, adolescence and now adulthood together and are the lucky type of friends that have grown together as they’ve grown. Paige is thrilled to share this next milestone as Sam’s matron of honor.
Tommy Kushner - Groomsman
My name is Tommy Kushner, who Christian likes to refer to as the President of the United States, with his phone always on do not disturb. I have been friends with Christian since we meet during our freshman year at St. X High School. Through countless weightlifting sessions, bar hops, and trips to Bourbon Street, there have been many adventures which we (nor other members of the groomsmen) would care to elaborate on. We’ve all been friends for a long time and went through college together…needless to say there are plenty of stories that will not make it into this bio. However, one such adventure I can speak on is the night Christian and Sam met! I’m happy to be apart of their big day and celebrate the happy couple as they enter the next chapter of their lives. Happiness and blessings to Christian and Sam!
Madeline Miller - Bridesmaid
Sam and I first met our freshman year of college at WKU. We rushed the same sorority and while we both ended up transferring after that first year, there was no way we were going to be out of each other’s lives. She is one of the most loyal, energetic, loving people I have ever met. I was there the unforgettable night that Sam “bumped” into Christian. I couldn’t have asked for a better soulmate for my best friend and am so happy to have gained a lifelong friend in Christian as well. He matches her energy so perfectly but also brings them back down to solid ground when needed. I am so happy for my 2 friends to celebrate their love and spend the rest of their lives together! Congrats Sam and Christian!
Noah Ewing - Groomsman
Noah met Christian his freshman year at UofL. As pledge brothers in their fraternity, the two became fast friends. Long nights spent playing Super Smash Bros. Melee in Kurz Hall, turned to off days spent around the Dungeons & Dragons table after graduation. Noah is proud to call Christian a friend and can’t wait to see him and Sam start the next chapter of their life together!
Chelsea Tippel - Bridesmaid
Hi guys!! My name is Chelsea Tippel, Christian’s little sister! My entire life I have looked up to Christian as not only an older brother, but a best friend. I first met Sam in 2019 when christian brought her home for dinner with our family. Ever since the first time I met her, I knew she’d be a great fit for Christian. Sam’s authentic, bright & bubbly personality makes Christian the luckiest man in the world to have her by his side. They truly could not be more perfect for each other! So excited to celebrate their special day together!
Joe Green - Groomsman
A friendship born at a high school lunch table, strengthened in a college fraternity, and solidified cooking over a hot stove. 14 years ago I would have never guessed where our lives would have taken us but it’s been one crazy ride. In that time Christian and I have seen each other at our best and at our worst and in the end came out stronger for it. One of my favorite memories with Christian was when we entered a Cajun cook off despite having no experience with making Cajun food, but though grit, tenacity, and a lot of elbow grease we were able to scrap our way into a 2nd place finish. I think this story exemplifies our friendship as we are always interested in trying new things no matter how in over our heads we end up and in the end we always have a blast. Here’s to many more adventures and culinary collaborations.
Mary Ann Green - Bridesmaid
Sam and I started out as the girlfriends of Christian and Joseph but soon developed our own friendship outside the boys. We can talk for hours or spend an entire day just being with each other hyper focused doing one our many hobbies together. Sam is the wild to my calm, the loud to my quiet, the yin to my yang. While I keep us grounded, Sam brings the color and energy to our friendship , and I couldn’t imagine life without her.
